स्वातंत्र्य दिनानिमित्त भाषण
सन्माननीय व्यासपीठ,व्यासपीठावर उपस्थित सर्व मान्यवर, सर्व गुरुजन वर्ग, गावातील प्रतिष्ठित नागरिक व माझे बालमित्र व मैत्रिणींनो. आज आपण आपला स्वातंत्र्य दिन उत्साहात साजरा करत आहोत. हा उत्साह संपूर्ण देशभर आहे. अगदी लहानापासून थोरांपर्यंत हा उत्साहाचा दिन साजरा करत आहेत. हे स्वातंत्र्य आपल्याला सहजासहजी मिळालेले नाही. यासाठी अनेकांनी आपल्या प्राणाचीआहुती दिलेली आहे. 15 ऑगस्ट 1947 रोजी मिळालेले स्वातंत्र्य आणि आज 15 ऑगस्ट 2023 रोजी आपण स्वातंत्र्य दिन साजरा करत आहोत हा कालावधी खूप मोठा कालावधी आहे.
आपल्याला स्वातंत्र्य प्राप्त होऊन जवळपास 75 वर्षाचा कालावधी झालेला आहे. या कालावधीमध्ये आपण आपल्या देशाचा खूप मोठ्या प्रमाणात विकास केलेला आहे. आज जगातील पहिल्या पाच अर्थव्यवस्थेमध्ये आपला देश प्रतिनिधित्व करतो, हि आपल्या साठी अभिमानाची बाब आहे. संपूर्ण जगामध्ये आपण आपल्या देशाला सन्मान मिळवून दिलेला आहे. आज सुद्धा अनेक अमेरिकेतील कंपन्या असो किंवा अनेक इंजिनियर डॉक्टर असो शास्त्रज्ञ असो आपल्या देशामध्ये जगाला पुरवण्याचा काम केलेला आहे. ही आपल्यासाठी खूप अभिमानाची गोष्ट आहे. आज आपण अंतराळ संशोधनांमध्ये सुद्धा आपला महत्त्वाचा ठसा उमटवलेला आहे. आज आपण आपल्या स्वतःची उपग्रह स्वतः पाठवू शकतो. आज जगाच्या तुलनेमध्ये आपण कोणत्याही क्षेत्रामध्ये पाठीमागे नाही आहोत. हे आपल्यासाठी महत्त्वाचे बाब आहे असे असले तरी आज सुद्धा आपल्या देशाला अनेक प्रकारच्या समस्यांना सामोरे जावे लागत आहे. वायुप्रदूषण असेल ध्वनी प्रदूषण असेल जल प्रदूषण असेल अशा प्रकारच्या समस्या असतील किंवा गरिबी असेल बेरोजगारी असेल भ्रष्टाचारी असेल अशा समस्यांना आपल्या देश सामोरे जात आहे. मित्रांनो या देशाचा नागरिक म्हणून या समस्या पासून आपल्या देशाला मुक्तता मिळवण्यासाठी प्रत्येक नागरिकांनी प्रयत्न केले पाहिजे. आपण सर्वांनी जर प्रयत्न केले तर आपण आपली स्वतःची व आपल्या देशाची प्रगती नक्कीच करू असा मला विश्वास आहे.
आज बदल प्रत्येकालाच हवा आहे. मात्र प्रत्येक जण सुरुवात स्वतः पासून करायला तयार नाही. म्हणजे शिवाजी जन्मावा पण तो माझ्या घरात नव्हे इतरांच्या घरात ही मानसिकता निर्माण झालेली आहे. प्रत्येक नागरिकाला देशाने मला काहीतरी द्यावे असे वाटत आहे. पण मी देशासाठी काय करू शकतो असा विचार करणारे नागरिक खूप कमी आहेत. मित्रांनो जोपर्यंत आपण आपल्या देशासाठी काहीतरी करणार नाही तोपर्यंत आपला किंबहुना आपल्या देशाचा विकास होणार नाही. आज गरज आहे प्रत्येकाने एकमेकांना सहकार्य करण्याची. जर प्रत्येकाने प्रत्येकाचा विचार केला तर नक्कीच आपल्या देशातील गरिबी कमी होण्यास हातभार लागेल यात शंका नाही. आज भ्रष्टाचारा सारख्या भस्मासुराने आपला देश पोखरून निघालेला आहे. जोपर्यंत या देशातील प्रत्येक नागरिक सुधारणार नाही, जोपर्यंत प्रत्येक नागरिकाचे मानसिकता सुधारणा नाही, तोपर्यंत कोणतेही शासन या भस्मासुराचा अंत करू शकणार नाही. या भ्रष्टाचाराची पाळीमुळे खोदून टाकण्यासाठी प्रत्येक नागरिकांनी जिम्मेदार नागरिक बनण्याचा प्रयत्न केला पाहिजे. आज सर्वप्रथम आपले देशाचा विचार झाला पाहिजे. अनेक महान क्रांतिकारकांनी सुद्धा स्वतःला स्वतःच्या कुटुंबाला दूर ठेवत प्राधान्य दिले ते आपल्या देशाला. तीच गरज आज सुद्धा आहे. मित्रांनो तसेच झाले तर नक्कीच आपण यशाच्या शिखरापर्यंत पोहचू. जगामध्ये आपल्या देशाची मान सन्मान उंचावेल हे मात्र नक्की.

Today we are celebrating our independence day with enthusiasm. This enthusiasm is all over the country. From very young to elders are celebrating this day of enthusiasm. We did not get this freedom easily. Many have sacrificed their lives for this. The period between independence on 15th August 1947 and the fact that we are celebrating Independence Day today on 15th August 2023 is a long period.
It has been almost 75 years since we got independence. During this period we have developed our country to a great extent. Today, our country is represented in the top five economies of the world, it is a matter of pride for us. We have brought honor to our country all over the world. Even today many American companies or many engineers, doctors or scientists are working to provide the world in our country. This is a matter of great pride for us. Today we have also made our significant mark in space research. Today we can launch our own satellites ourselves. Today we are not behind in any field compared to the world. Although this is an important matter for us, even today our country is facing many kinds of problems. Our country is facing problems like air pollution, noise pollution, water pollution, poverty, unemployment, corruption. Friends, as a citizen of this country, every citizen should try to free our country from this problem. I believe that if we all make efforts, we will definitely make progress for ourselves and our country.
Today everyone wants change. But not everyone is ready to start from himself. That is, Shivaji should be born, but not in my house, this mentality has been created in other people's houses. Every citizen wants the country to give me something. But there are very few citizens who think what I can do for the country. Friends, unless we do something for our country, we will not actually develop our country. Today it is necessary for everyone to cooperate with each other. There is no doubt that if everyone thinks of everyone, it will definitely contribute to the reduction of poverty in our country. Today our country is full of ashes like corruption. Until every citizen of this country improves, until the mentality of every citizen improves, no government will be able to end this bhasmasura. Even many great revolutionaries put themselves away from their families and gave priority to their country. The same need exists even today.
